MEET THE OWNER
Margot Ware
Owner of Shylo Home Care for 25+ years!
I am Margot Ware, RN BScN, GNC (c), the present Director/Owner of Shylo Home Healthcare. I initially joined the Home Healthcare company as a Companion in 1986.
Impressed by both Betty and Linda's home nursing and palliative care of my terminally ill mother and later my aged grandfather, I felt that I literally stumbled into my vocation through their wonderful example.
I started my educational journey towards a Registered Nursing degree while continuing to work as a Home Healthcare Aide at Shylo. Ten years later, when Betty and Linda decided to retire, I took over the company that she'd grown to love.

FAQs
Is your postpartum care available on a flexible schedule?
All of our care is available “as needed” but, having said that, the number one request in our business is the consistency of care so the client and their family can develop a relationship with the Caregiver, and we can only provide consistent staffing when we have a set schedule. So, although we can do on-call services, there will be no consistency. Similar to the concept “you can have it fast or good, but not both”.
We do not have a minimum number of hours a client must use our services a week, or month, so the client can certainly choose to have us as frequently or infrequently as they choose.
How many hours a day can a caregiver assist me?
Our minimum per shift is 4 hours, although we can provide care up to 24 hours daily. Clients can choose to have us in one day a week or as many days each week as they require. Clients often start with a set number of hours per week, say 8 hours, then adjust the hours or number of days of care as their needs change.
Is weekend or evening care available?
Yes, we offer services 24-7-365.
Does insurance cover postpartum care?
It can. We encourage everyone to check with your insurance agent before you start care to confirm what is covered. We also advise clients to check with their accountants to confirm how much is tax-deductible each year.
